In the Balance

While walking, my camera battery died right after this. Naturally, the scene transformed from this into an otherworldly spectacle of great magnitude and beauty. The storm clouds solidified and their edges become much sharper leaving only the outermost surfaces a brilliant white. The clouds came together in front of the sun in a way that made their crisp glowing edges look like a large lightning bolt with rounded edges.

Needless to say, the storm proceeded to envelop the island and produce one of the most spectacular lightning shows I've ever witnessed. An interpretation of one of the bolts that night is forthcoming.
