Over Charred Pine Circle

I was on my way to pick up dinner....a veggie pizza for me, 1/2 pineapple 1/2 pepperoni for my wife, and cheese for her sister...who took the portrait of me in front of my large unfinished mandala. As I backed out of the driveway and looked forward, I saw this scene. To my eye, though, the clouds were crystal clear and you could see virtually every swirl and bump of vapor. I parked the car right there, and sprinted inside to grab the camera and tripod....running because the clouds were jetting across the sky. Returning to the street, barefoot, I looked up and the monstrously tall and unique cloud formation I had seen at first might as well have never been. I did, however, get a few shots off of some nearly-as-awesome clouds w/ a full moon blazing through.
