The landscape continues to be a powerful symbol for me in my work. These, when combined with more purely abstract forms & color usage have led me to include different kinds of portals/spirals.
As the mind travels the distances between inner & outer space, the heart realizes their unity, & the brush forges these often disjointed aspects into the heart-mind. The world and existence itself stand naked before this ultimate engine of perception, and all becomes possible.
