This image entered my mind's eye spontaneously. Composition, color, and all- it was finished as soon as I was aware of it. Originally, I painted Burn: [link] . In so doing, I added my own interpretation so that the image would align more closely with the rest of the pieces in what was to become a show. However, the original vision and its deeply powerful mood has stayed with me and I felt that it should be shared.
